Our house name is about creativity and passion which exemplify our role model Katherine Mansfield. She and Mansfield House stand for creativity and believing that the imaginations of young people should be nurtured so they grow into innovative and inventive thinkers. We also encourage passion because that is the start of success - if you believe in something strong enough, nothing can stop you.
"Risk! Risk anything! Care no more for the opinion of others ... Do the hardest thing on earth for you. Act for yourself. Face the truth." - Katherine Mansfield.
The absolute highlight of last year was winning the house shield. This year we hope to win again! However, we also hope to demonstrate our school values by forming respectful relationships with our fellow Mansfield members and our competitors in the other houses. It was brilliant to see Mansfield win the Athletics and Triathlon competitions. Unfortunately, we are trailing for House Spirit Points. We need all Mansfield members to turn up to house events and give everything a go.
